Shotgun Licence Information

To apply for a shotgun licence you will need the following:- 4 x passport style photos. Gun security. Usually a safe. (best to get this after a provisional OK from the police). Somebody to countersign your application. An application form from the Firearms Enquiry Team (FET) covering the area in which you live. Somewhere you can use a shotgun. Either suitable land with the owners permission or a clay pigeon shooting club (Some experience or a lesson often helps).

"Safe Gun Handling Courses" are available through the Saddlery & Gunroom, a certifcate is provided on successful completion. These can help with licence applications. Click HERE for more details
